Eukanuba Advances Canine Nutritional ScienceFor nearly twenty years, Canine Companions and Eukanuba have been dedicated to our mutual commitment to provide the very best nutrition to our dogs through all stages of life. Together we’ve developed an understanding of the relationship between nutrition, cognition and longevity in Canine Companions puppies and assistance dogs. We’ve partnered to increase awareness of volunteer puppy raising and our mission to provide assistance dogs to people with disabilities. As the national strategic partner of Canine Companions, Eukanuba has sponsored several puppies over the years, including Ember from the Extraordinary E Litter. Eukanuba followed Ember’s journey to become an assistance dog and were delighted to hear that this gentle giant found his calling as a service dog for Shakti, who has multiple sclerosis. “I can count on Ember to help me and be by my side wherever I go,” Shakti says. “This is such an amazing thing to happen for me.”

For every bottle of St. Francis wine purchased through 2021, the winery will donate $1.00 to Canine Companions up to $100,000. The campaign raises awareness and financial support for our mission and the partnership will impact the lives of many people with disabilities.
Build-A-Bear Adds a Little More Heart to Life
Building on an initial $300,000 donation to Canine Companions for Independence in honor of the retailer’s 20th Birthday in 2017, Build-A-Bear® Workshop and Build-A-Bear Foundation™ continue to increase their commitment to Canine Companions by leading national fundraising campaigns to help provide even more service dogs to children and adults with disabilities.
Build-A-Bear’s love for furry friends is central to their mission of adding a little more heart to life – which is why we are thrilled to partner with Build-A-Bear to help raise an assistance dog! Assistance dogs often become best friends to their human partners, and Build-A-Bear Foundation is joining our ongoing mission of providing quality partnerships and forever friendships.
