Dawn Gatley joined our team as the director of human capital in 2019 and brings more than 20 years of human resources experience within privately-held and public Fortune 100 and 500 companies. Her career began as an HRIS specialist and has grown over the years in various roles including HR consultant, HR manager and HR director. In her previous role as vice president of human resources at VIP Petcare, Dawn was a member of the executive leadership team and held oversight of all areas of the HR, training and veterinary engagement departments. She originally started her career with VIP Petcare as a department of one responsible for 125 employees and grew into her position as the company expanded nationally to over 1100 employees. Other experience includes roles at The Home Depot, DIRECTV and SteinWorld Operating Company. She is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from DeSales University and a master of education in adult learning and higher education administration from the University of Oklahoma.
