We often take for granted doing basic tasks like picking up a set of keys, opening a door, pulling down a window shade, carrying a bag of groceries. Imagine being unable to do those things without constant help from family, friends and/or paid caregivers.
Now imagine overcoming these physical barriers and gaining independence with a very special, highly trained four-legged friend from Canine Companions for Independence.
You can help, by participating in Snoopy® DogFest. There are many ways corporations, families, schools, civic groups, clubs and individuals can participate in Snoopy® DogFest. CCI can help you find the perfect way to get involved and have fun, while helping CCI make a difference.

Corporate Sponsorships.
CCI has numerous sponsorship opportunities available to fit your business’ specific needs. As a sponsor, your company receives benefits based on your commitment level and your support is promoted to the Chicago community through marketing materials
In-kind Sponsorships.
In addition to corporate sponsorship donations, companies and individuals may become involved by providing in-kind goods and services for Snoopy® DogFest. In-kind support helps CCI promote, reward and treat participants to an outstanding, fun, family and pet-friendly event and promotes your business’ commitment to helping people with disabilities.
Start or Join Your Own “Peanuts® Gang.”
- Form/join a Corporate Team
- Form/join a School Team
- Form/join a Community Team
- Form/join a Family and Friends Team
All you need to start your own “Peanuts® Gang” is at least four, but no more than 10 walkers, a team captain and a team name.
Volunteer.
Volunteers are needed to help during Snoopy® DogFest and for pre-walk activities. CCI needs enthusiastic people to help with anything from preparing mailings, assembling prize packets, registering participants and more. This is a great opportunity for students to earn community service hours and for anyone interested in supporting a great cause.
