Canine Companions for Independence, Colorado Office
The Colorado Office of Canine Companions has been making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities since 1992, working with the Southwest Regional Office to serve the state of Colorado. A center for fundraising, community outreach and volunteer coordination, the Colorado Office provides resources and information statewide.
We support donors in Colorado through individual giving, special events, service clubs, foundation and corporate giving. In addition, we are happy to guide individuals through the planned giving process in conjunction with our National Advancement Office.
As a resource for education, the Colorado Office welcomes inquiries for presentations at schools, civic associations, service groups, etc. To submit a request for a presentation, please fill out the presentation request form.
Dedicated volunteers are essential to the success of our organization. Volunteer puppy raisers care for future Canine Companions assistance dogs for the first year and a half of their lives. If you are interested in this highly rewarding volunteer position, please fill out the puppy raising application. We also have a range of other volunteer opportunities available. Please fill out the volunteer application form and we'll be in touch.
