Canine Companions for Independence opened an office in Los Angeles at 2312 Westwood Boulevard, thanks to a generous grant from The Shirley McKernan Courage Foundation. The office, which opened in May 2010, allows Canine Companions to better serve local clients including wounded veterans. It is critical to Canine Companions’ goal of placing more assistance dogs in Los Angeles. Currently, there are 44 Canine Companions assistance dogs working in Los Angeles County.
Help us get the word out about this life-changing organization! Request a presentation for your school, church or civic group.
