A little background on the calendar...

Thanks to San Francisco 49ers kicker Joe Nedney and wife Gina, Terry Albert Levin and husband John, and the San Francisco 49ers for making the calendar possible.

Joe and Gina Nedney
Joe and Gina Nedney adopted a Canine Companions released dog, Pepper, as sweet yellow Labrador Retriever.

“What CCI provides is life changing and inspiring,” shares Joe and Gina Nedney. “As a member of the San Francisco 49ers we are honored and thrilled to help with such an important organization.”

Terry and John Levin
Terry has supported Canine Companions for almost 30 years and has a family history with the SF 49ers as well. Her father was left-handed All-Pro quarterback Frankie Albert, #63, one of the original 49ers.

An All-American at Stanford, Albert was drafted by the 49ers in 1946 and played 7 seasons. He was known for his scrambling style and credited with inventing the bootleg play.

Albert returned as 49ers head coach for 3 seasons and he was a part-owner of the team until the late 1970s.

"As a longtime supporter of Canine Companions for Independence and daughter of one of the original 49ers, I am so pleased with this special calendar,” says Terry Albert Levin. “Cheers to the 49ers for showcasing Canine Companions and its mission---providing highly trained assistance dogs to improve the lives of people with disabilities."
