Primary Purpose of the Job: This position is responsible for providing quality care of the dogs and puppies housed
in the kennels as well as the cleaning and maintenance of the kennels, dog exercise yards and kennel complex.

Essential Duties: Sanitation/maintenance, dog feeding and care, inventory, record keeping and other duties as assigned
by supervisor or department.

Required Experience: Prior dog handling, training and dog health care experience preferred.

Required Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Required licenses: None.

Working Conditions: Work outdoors and indoors performing cleaning, maintenance and canine health care duties.
Weekend and holiday work maybe required.

Safety Hazards: Subject to hazards that can be caused by working with animals and chemicals.   Activities include
regular and/or repeated walking, standing, bending, stooping and kneeling with exposure to cleaning chemicals and high
temperature steam cleaning.

Hiring Range: $10.88 to $12.60 per hour based on experience.
