Journey to Independence Gala
The Journey to Independence Gala on October 4th, 2008 at The Grove of Anaheim was a great success! Approximately 240 people gathered to celebrate CCI's human-canine partnerships during Disability Awareness Month and $127,000 was raised for the Southwest Region of Canine Companions for Independence! Guests enjoyed a red carpet entrance, cocktail hour, gourmet dinner, silent and live auctions, and the musical stylings of Yvette Freeman Hartley. Graduate Teams Ali & Adam Wolf & Kiki and David Gruca & Loma shared their awe-inspiring stories with the crowd.
