Service Dog Garrison Saves the Day

Bill came home late one night last winter. Got out of the car, pulled his jacket closer against the bitter cold and dropped his keys. Bill watched from his wheelchair as the keys tumbled to the driveway, completely out of his reach.

Bill looked at the empty street and wondered if a stranger would even drive by to help?

Thankfully these thoughts were fleeting. All Bill had to do to get safely inside out of the cold was tell Service Dog Garrison to get the keys off the ground and give them to him.

And what about the rest of the crew? Well, the E Litter pups are busy training and growing and practicing all the skills they need to become the very best assistance dogs. They work year round to make sure they will be ready when an adult, child, or veteran with a disability needs an assistance dog. They dream of the day they will be able to share the gift of independence. Read more about the E Litter and their gifts on our latest blog post.
