Canine Companions for Independence was featured in a CBS news segment investigating the effects of those posing their pet dogs as legitimate service animals. Susan Lee Vick, National Director of Advancement for Canine Companions shared that by purchasing service dog vest and other equipment for fake service dogs actually makes life harder for those with disabilities and certified service dogs.
