At Canine Companions for Independence (CCI), your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this statement explaining our online information practices, and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and other pages where personally-identifiable information may be requested.

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Canine Companions for Independence web site. On some pages, you can make donations, order products, make comments, and request to receive information and other CCI materials. The Way We Use Information

Answering Electronic Messages: We use return email addresses to answer emails we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties. Postal addresses may be used, as required, to properly respond to your message, and to send you CCI newsletters.

Fulfilling Orders: We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

CCI may use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our web site.  We do not sell or share visitor or donor information with outside parties.

CCI does not use personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above, without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

You can telephone, write or email Canine Companions for Independence to review or change information previously provided, or to discontinue receiving CCI newsletters. To protect your privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information.
