Virginia DeVilleneuve

Virginia DeVilleneuve began volunteering for Canine Companions for Independence in 2004. She started as a puppy sitter and quickly realized that she wanted to raise a puppy for Canine Companions. Consequently, in April of 2005 Virginia got her first Canine Companion puppy. Her name was Nada and she was followed by four more puppies... Fergie, Trista, Laurel and Florette. Nada, Trista, Laurel and Florette decided they did not want to be assistance dogs. When they were released Nada, Trista and Florette came home to live with Virginia's family and Laurel was adopted by a great family in Fairview, Texas. Read more...
