Lone Star Chapter

South Central Region

Formed in early 2015, the Lone Star Chapter is comprised of volunteers, puppy raisers and graduate teams serving Dallas, Fort Worth and the surrounding areas. Lone Star Chapter members actively support Canine Companions through community awareness, outreach activities and fundraising. We are positioned to do great things for Canine Companions and the clients the organization serves in Texas! Join us if you would like to volunteer your time and talents to training Exceptional Dogs for Exceptional People®.

What’s a Chapter?

If you’re looking for deeper engagement as a Canine Companions volunteer, we encourage you to get involved with our chapter. The Lone Star Volunteer Chapter is an extension of the South Central Regional Training Center. We work to raise awareness, recruit new puppy raisers and volunteers and support one another’s work on behalf of the Canine Companions’ mission.

We are a lively network filled with opportunities for social engagement, from puppy outings to fundraisers. Beyond the satisfaction of doing good work for Canine Companions, lifelong friendships are often formed among chapter members. If you are interested in working with our chapter, contact us. We’d love to meet you!

Canine Companions representatives are available to present to your group or have an outreach booth at your event. Please complete a request form and a Lone Star Chapter volunteer will repond.
