Import our calendar

There are separate calendars for Events and Puppy Classes. Both calendars are displayed on the Chapter Events page. Either or both of these can be easily imported to the calendar on your PC or smartphone. 

Each calendar has its own URL as follows:

  • Events calendar URL:
    https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/eastbaymiracles%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics
  • Puppy Classes calendar URL:
    https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/d3hno3gvop05gpm9eqdm62kbgk%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics

Either or both of these URLs can be added to the settings for many calendar programs, allowing them to display the East Bay Calendars. Follow the instructions below for the calendar program that you use.

Google Calendar

Yahoo Calendar 

Microsoft Outlook

Other Calendar Applications

Google Calendar

You can easily copy individual events from the chapter calendar to your Google calendar. Click on any event in the chapter calendar, then click the link at the bottom of the popup to “copy to my calendar”.

To keep either or both of the chapter calendars automatically synced with your Google calendar, do the following:

  • Direct your web browser to http://calendar.google.com
  • If you use more than one Google account, ensure you are logged onto the correct one. If in doubt, click the icon in the upper right corner of your calendar.

  • Click the down arrow icon to the right of "Other calendars" in the left sidebar. Select "Add by URL".

 

  • Copy and paste one of the two URLs listed above into the URL box. 

  • Click "Add Calendar".  
  • If you want to add both calendars, repeat the previous steps with the other calendar URL.

 Yahoo Calendar

  • Direct your web browser to http://calendar.yahoo.com
  • Click “Actions” (to the right of the gear icon), and select “Follow Other Calendars”.

  • Enter a title for the calendar

  • Copy and paste one of the two URLs listed above into the "iCal Address" box.
  • Click “Continue”.
  • If you want to add both calendars, repeat the previous steps with the other calendar URL.

Microsoft Outlook

  • Display your calendar in Outlook.
  • In the "Home" ribbon, click "Open Calendar", then select "From Internet".

  • Copy and paste one of the two URLs listed above into the location box.

  • Click "OK".
  • If you want to add both calendars, repeat the previous steps with the other calendar URL.

Outlook.com

  • Log onto http://outlook.com and use the menu in the upper left corner to go to your calendar
  • Click "Import"

  • Click "Subscribe"

  • In the Calendar URL box, type or copy-and-paste the calendar URL.
  • Enter a name for the calendar and choose a color.
  • Click Subscribe
  • If you want to add both calendars, repeat the previous steps with the other calendar URL.

Mac OS X Calendar

  • Start the Calendar App
  • From the "File" menu, select "New Calendar Subscription...".

  • Copy and paste one of the two URLs listed above into the "Calendar URL" box.

 

  • Click "Subscribe".
  • Click "OK".
  • If you want to add both calendars, repeat the previous steps with the other calendar URL.

iPhone or iPad

If your Google, Outlook, or Mac Calendar is synced to your iPhone, the calendar(s) added above should appear on your phone. You can also add the calendar(s) directly to your phone by doing the following:

  • Start the "Settings" app.
  • Tap "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" 

  • Tap "Add Account"

  • Tap "Other"

  • Tap "Add Subscribed Calendar"

  • Copy and paste one of the two URLs listed above into the "Server" box.
  • Tap "Next"
  • If you want to add both calendars, repeat the previous steps with the other calendar URL.

Android Phone or Tablet

  • Most Android devices have an associated Google account. Using your PC, log onto that account and follow the instructions for Google CalendarThe East Bay calendar items should automatically sync to your phone. If you have sync problems, follow the steps in this link.

Windows Phone

  • Most Windows phones have an associated outlook.com account. Using your PC, log onto that account and follow the instructions for outlook.comThe East Bay calendar items should automatically sync to your phone.

For other applications not listed above, try doing a web search for your calendar application's name subscribe calendar URL
