3K run/walk with your dog benefitting Canine Companions for Independence

Invite your friends and come join us on Saturday, May 4 at the Greensboro Country Park for the 2nd Annual Greensboro Dog Jog. The event includes a 3K run/walk with your dog, t-shirts for all the runners and bandanas for the dogs. Plus there will be prizes for the largest fundraisers, best dressed and fastest finishers in each category. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the walk starts at 9 a.m. Everyone will have a fun time while supporting a great cause.

All proceeds will benefit Canine Companions for Independence, a national non-profit organization that provides highly trained assistance dogs to children and adults with disabilities, free of charge, and ongoing support to ensure lasting partnerships. Canine Companions for Independence is funded by private contributions from individuals, gifts from businesses, civic groups, and service clubs, grants from corporations and foundations, and ongoing fundraising activities such as special events and mailings.
