About Our Organization
Canine Companions for Independence provides highly-trained assistance dogs for children, adults and veterans with disabilities. Established in 1975, Canine Companions has five regional training centers across the country.
Canine Companions is recognized worldwide for the excellence of its dogs, and the quality and longevity of the matches it makes between dogs and people. There is no charge for Canine Companions assistance dogs, their training or ongoing follow up services.
Canine Companions receives no government funding and is supported entirely by the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations, as well as fundraisers like the signature Pins for Pups event.For more information visit cci.org or call 1-800-572-BARK
